Ammunition Seized in North Dublin, One Arrested – 19th March 2026

As part of ongoing investigations by Crime East, DMR North, members of the Drugs Unit at Coolock Garda Station conducted a search at a residential property in Swords, County Dublin, on Thursday, 19th March 2026.

During the search, Gardaí recovered 50 shotgun shells. In addition, a quantity of cannabis herb, drug paraphernalia and weighing scales were also discovered.

A male in his 30s was arrested under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act and is currently detained at a Garda station in the Dublin region.

Investigations are ongoing.
